Private Client: Family | Northwest | Tier 4

The guide has acknowledged our team’s breadth of expertise in modern family law matters such as surrogacy and same sex issues, as well as our proficiency in guiding our clients through alternative routes of dispute resolution. The guide recommends both Katie McCann and Michael Gregory for their capabilities in this area, as well as Abi Woodcock, who qualified into our team earlier this year and continues to excel as a legal practitioner.

We are proud of our representation on this guide, which affirms our position as a dynamic boutique family law firm, adaptive to the ever-changing legal demands of families in the post-pandemic landscape.

Private Client: Family: Mediation | London | Leading Individual

Our new partner Michelle is described as “approachable and compassionate”, as she offers sole mediation and, where she has identified it would benefit both parties, co- mediation sessions. Michelle is able to draw upon the expertise of other specialists where needed, with the guide recognising her holistic and resolution-focused practice.

Work highlights

Advising a husband in respect to a family dispute regarding the respondent wife’s interest in a substantial family trust and her involvement with the family business – worth around £34 million – and its relevance to the overall settlement.

Acting for a wife in respect to her divorce and finance proceedings which involved a pre-nuptial agreement which we understand our client signed under duress and within days of the wedding.

Advising a man in respect to a particularly contentious financial remedy application, made by his spouse, concerning an extensive matrimonial pot worth approximately £3 million and involving a complex family dispute affecting the family trust and international property.
