About Abi
Abi is a newly-qualified Solicitor with over 3 years’ experience working as a paralegal and then as a trainee solicitor in family law.
Abi has been closely involved in all aspects of family law but has a particular interest and experience in high-net-worth financial settlements on divorce and separation. She runs and assists fee earners on cases, taking on a client-facing role, to achieve the desirable outcome for the client. Abi has experience in working with clients who have obtained financial orders by consent and assisting clients from the beginning to the end of their financial remedy proceedings. She also has experience in representing clients in private Children Act proceedings, preparing clients for hearings both in person and remote.
Abi also has experience in achieving the desired outcome for the client through the use of alternative dispute resolution and has been involved in a round table meeting conducted remotely during COVID-19 for the parties and their representatives on a high-net-worth case. She has also prepared for and attended a private Financial Dispute Resolution hearing taking place at their Manchester office and reaching settlement for the client.
Abi is dedicated to achieving the best outcome for clients and maintains attention to detail throughout every case.
Outside of her career, Abi enjoys running as part of a local club and participates in charity events, most recently a duathlon and the Manchester half marathon.
